back to work Monday, this time as a client service representative instead of doing medical stuff. feeling ambivalent. I expect I’ll be able to learn and independently complete the duties reasonably quickly, but honestly don’t feel great about fitting back in with the people I walked out on.

just got back from visiting family in northern Michigan, where it seems like many of my family members have their trash collected by a company called GFL Environmental. allegedly that stands for “green for life” but my brother said it should stand for “good fucking luck”

not to mention waiting in the bag drop line, getting to the counter, and having the staff member say “if you’re not going to Dallas [a flight leaving slightly earlier], go back to the back of the line”.

I miss living near a Delta hub.

flying @americanair.bsky.social out of #TVC is such a mess. we’re essentially 28 hours delayed at this point and have had to pay twice to check baggage, and our rebooked flight that already got pushed back isn’t boarding yet at 6:18 pm despite an “on time” 6:35 pm departure listed

might’ve been. there was a lot of confusion when we got deplaned about checked bags, then they let us know they were unloading everything because they needed to send our plane to Syracuse, NY (I think? we’re in northern Michigan)

aaaaand flight cancelled, going to get home like 26 hours later than planned. this sucks. not clear why they didn’t just delay it and wait and see.

lady arguing with the gate agents at this tiny airport because she showed up at the gate after scheduled departure for her flight. they paged her like 9000 times come on

AuDHD fidgeting/stimming is interesting with young, playful, very bright kitties around…I won’t even realize I’m moving at all until Steele pounces on my foot or Coal leans on my leg.
