I am steadily watching all of Gundam Universal Century. Then I will explore other timeliness.

Just arrived. One of my favorite fairly recent series. A love letter to the creative process. Thanks Sentai for a great Summer sale.

I got Kakashi at Burger King USA.

We are finally back at Sa Ri One. So many delicious banchan. I like the kimchi and spicy zucchini. I got Bulgogi that was melt in your mouth good with a nice sweet sauce. In the Summer I love cold Mugicha (Barley) tea to beat the heat. I can't wait to go back.

It has been a long time, but I was ready to make Japanese curry again. So many anime for Summer 2025 right now that I wanted a spicy, hearty meal to dine on while I watch.

One of my favorite Summer reads is Darkness in Summer about young Japanese couples who travel overseas, take in the sights of the city, explore the beauty of rural landscapes, dine on local cuisines, and who have no desire to return home.

In college at Kansai Gaidai near Osaka, I took a course called Intro to Japanese History. We took a field trip to Nara.

Saturday milestone. Today I finished watching all 72 episodes of Voltron Lion Force. Next Saturday I will start Voltron Vehicle Force.

I love Mishima's Sea of Fertility series.

The Summer anime line up looks promising. My top pick is Kaiju No. 8 and I am curious about My Dress Up Darling Season 2. I am mildly curious about The Summer Hikaru Died and City the Animation.

There was a knock on the door and he asked someone to open it. There was a team of Pizza Hut employees with 500 pepperoni pizzas. He said let's have lunch and we passed pizza boxes and got two slices each.

Sadly I just found out that Science Fiction writer Peter David passed away. I attended his panel on Does Humor Belong in Science Fiction way back in the 90's at Necronomicon in Tampa. During the panel David said how funny the unexpected can be. (See next post)

I am interested in the misuse of power and how it can cause individuals to abuse their authority.

Next book for me is from email correspondences I had with Anime Historian and Furry founder, Fred Patten. We both like Miltary Science Fiction and Fred recommended Lois McMaster Bujold and David Weber. I am excited for this one.

Spotted at my local Little Free Library. A childhood favorite of mine. I prefer the children's edition to Verne's original long winded novel. The biggest influences on me was the movie on Wonderful World of Disney, Sundays at 7pm, then the Magic Kingdom ride, and the record.
