Example: I gave her this drawing for the dragons i wanted on the spine (1st picture). She touched it up (second picture) and made it a part of the entire book. In the spine I wanted, the back, and even with the title. To tie to all together

Which I fricken love that she did that. Its so pretty

For my triology, I had the general idea for the first one.The last two, I had to think about a while & brainstorm with friends. Finding the artist helped with that too as I saw her art & gave me ideas that would work well with her art style

She also tweek things or gave ideas to help with my covers

Cyle became wiser. He accepts that things happen & he can't control it. How to move on & just do what the best that he can

Alyce&Cyle are twins. They also have a younger brother named Francis (a SC). He's childish & stubborn...just like his siblings lol

Quinn has an older brother named Drune. He's goofy & caring. He shows up in book 2

Milo has an older brother named Leander. He's honorable & kind. He's an important SC

In SoM, there are two gods (Life & Death) that created the world. Life is the goddness of light & life. It was said that she was beautiful, kind, & generous. Death is the god of darkness & decay. It was said he was quiet, cold, & harsh, kept mostly to himself

Milo was abused & controlled all of his life. Being told who/what he was supposed to be & act. He grew rebellious, finding ways to goof off, really good at finding loopholes.

He tends to be kind & drive for freedom. Once he got it, he became overly protective in keeping his freedom

Cyle became more cautious. Still became the kind young man he is today, but He trained hard to be stronger so he could protect people. To be the hero. The experience rubbed in that he was weak, and he hated that. Now, he became so fixed on being stronger to protect others

Alyce grew cold, having a hard time trusting people. She also grew harsh/heartless to act tough so people wouldn't mess with her or doubt her. She worked hard with her magic to be stronger. She also does questionable things to get what she wants done...no matter what

When Alyce & Cyle were 12, a hunter caught them. They tried to escape but failed. Both Alyce & Cyle tried to fight him off, protecting each other, but then the hunter gravely wounds Cyle in front of Alyce. Cyle ended up in being in a coma for a few weeks

Both changed after that (1/?)

In the end, all my MCs do succeed with their goals but not after lots of struggles

People loses their abilities, having to learn how to continue on without their usual magic

Important people die

Some get captured or controlled *Cough* Milo/Alyce *Cough*

I heard about Scrivener and how it has so many features. I do have large works. I have thought about dipping into that to help with my complicated works

I came up with Alyce 1st. She was inspired by Katniss Everdeen. I wanted a strong anti-herorine

Then Cyle. I wanted Alyce to have a twin that opposes her rougue ideals. My Mr. Rules

What writing software do you guys use? Thinking of stepping away from Microsoft Word cause I've been having too many issues with it

For Secrets of Magic, it was heavily inspired by ATLA mostly. The way how my mages use their magic are like benders. It was also inspired by The Hunger Games and The Owl House as well

H.P Lovecraft. His works are so twisted and creepy. Like its hard to understand at times cause of how wild/weird it is...but i find it that it makes it even creepier that you dont understand all the time lol its just unhinged sometimes
