A Breviary Instead of saying "early," the morning strung its beaded condensation over the clarity of glass where all of the morning a cat's tongue, barbed and thirsty, licked a way towards cool. The window couldn't tell and so it showed: a flock of leaves, azaleas, asphalt, and what could the woman who tried to look out do but listen, inside an evening angled under a sun flushed as any need to leave. The window repeated, reversed, her own face, holy as blue. What could she do but hear a thousand petalled words for "faith" in nothing less than the self that counts all morning along with every burn and beauty.

For everyone confused, yes this is really me. @authorcrk is me, too. My account was hacked and I was scammed. Then someone took over my account and tried to continue the chain of scamming and impersonating. They took over @thepoetjean account to scam me. So be aware this is happening and be careful

And why prey on me? When my accounts are negative and they can see that? Lol I’m surprised they didn’t bounce the second they saw on the shared screen that I’m broke as heck. Try scamming some famous oligarchs. Then you’ll get more than some pennies someone needs to literally survive

Anyway. Just be wary, of course. The scammers also take you to PayPal (Xoom) and make it so the transaction is one-way and you can’t get a refund or even report it as scam and get your money back. Super slimy. I just locked my debit cards before, but this is impossible to combat.

Kind of like imitating customer service. And even saying things like they respect your privacy and that. Too bad my trauma survival instincts didn’t kick in lol I care too much about my Bsky account and the platform I have built up. I was so happy to have a place for my writing… a community…

I just don’t like Discord. They can even see what you are doing on your phone screen! Well. I certainly learned something today. Scams are getting a lot more sophisticated. It was preying on my fear of being jailed and fined and they were also very personable and understanding.

Whoever was at @thepoetjean has now suspended their account. They contacted me first about falsely reporting my account and then invited me to Discord. I should have sensed red flags by then because it seems scams are always on Discord
