The San Diego Museum of Art is expanding for the first time since 1966, adding 37,000 square feet of new galleries, educational spaces, and community areas. This project will increase access, offer enriching programming, and inspire generations of San Diegans to engage with art.

Villa La Jolla Drive will close overnight from 11:00 PM July 31 to 6:00 AM August 1 for city crews to install new traffic control equipment following emergency drainage repairs. Starting Aug 1, traffic will shift to center lanes through early Sept—detour signs will be posted. 🚧

San Diego’s utility bills rank among the highest in the nation, and it’s imperative for the City to have a strong voice in Sacramento. Today, the Council approved my resolution supporting a package of state bills tackling utility affordability and accountability.
