Huge turnout for this morning’s Menlo Park community coffee at CAFE Zoë. Thanks to everyone who came out to share your concerns about California being targeted by the Trump administration for constant political retribution and the steps Trump is taking towards authoritarianism.

At a time when so many communities of color are under attack, we are reminded that many essential freedoms are still out of reach for so many.

I am honored to recognize the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County as AD 23’s Nonprofit of the Year.

At a time when both marginalized communities and the legal profession are under attack, legal aid clinics are a shining light, ensuring everyone has access to zealous representation.

I secured $8 million to help acquire the land from Peninsula Open Space Trust and I’m excited for more of it to open to the public in the future!

Our inaugural Walk & Talk with Marc was a smashing success! We saw a corner of Cloverdale Ranch in Pescadero, guided by docents from Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District.

For sixty years CSA has served our most vulnerable in Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills, a true place of welcome and respite to all in our community.

Fantastic turnout for this morning’s community coffee in Palo Alto! Grateful to everyone who came out bright and early - the turnout exceeded my expectations! And huge thanks to the amazing team at Ada's Cafe for supplying the mouth watering pastries and coffee.

It was great to host the 4th grade class of the Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School at our state Capitol this morning! They showed up ready to go with some fantastic questions - I think I saw some future Legislators in this class!

Sexual violence has no place in our society, and on National Denim Day, I am proud to stand in solidarity with survivors by wearing denim. Today, and every day, we stand united and committed to ending sexual violence everywhere.
