Alternatively, if we suppose that an arrow means you move out to another room (as we're seeing them on elevators). Then you've got a yellow arrow right next to the start that brings you to the bottom-left room instantly, skipping the maze.

If a yellow arrow means a start position, then we've got 4 possible start positions to choose from in this picture. One of them is in the room below, I pick that one as my start and I'm out of the apple's room.

I'd say it being compact actually helps a lot, as it limits the number of things you have to keep track of in your level design, making it easier to have everything tightly connected together.

Sharing another Snakeloop 'clone' which I missed during last gmtk jam: Cosmoroboros by NonDescript Games, bene-labs, Luane Kort, Nayuka & Johannes J Kross.
It got a post-jam version with a lot of levels available, and will apparently come out on Steam later.

There'll be both Windows & Linux support. No consoles planned though (other than Steam Deck)

That's normal as there's no way to get to them in the demo. The demo includes all of the panels of the full game as a teasing. Except for a single one to block from progressing further and was replaced by the "end of demo" panels.

Late #WIPWednesday, but I'm breaking my game's level design right now as I'm resizing each area to be 30x30 instead of 25x25 to have room for more things. And there's also a small thing that was added in the middle of the scene ๐Ÿ‘€

Added a bit of 'shading' to the panels of my new puzzle game so it is easier to visualize how the rhombuses patterns match the 3d platforms.

Also, I'm currently working on a Steam page, it should come out next week if everything goes well.
