Sketches 7 & 8 were driven by one of my friends who told me to analyze letters, to add character or flair to them later. I've been a calligraphy liker, so I decided to try to lean into it a little! Also, some of the capital letters feel archaic, so I tried to redesign them with readability in mind??

Sketch 6 was an attempt to study two-point perspective without understanding the use case or having a video in front of me. As you can imagine, that did not go well! To salvage the sketch, I did some dice studies!

I find it funny TO THIS DAY that XIV's MSQ storyline lines up outrageously close, pacing-wise, to Homestuck. Any other stories out there that start with a giant meteor that we can tack on at this point?

Sketch 5 occurred when I was having phone battery issues at ALA! I like big environmental art pieces, so I figured I'd take my shot with a scenery piece and try to understand lighting a little better. Also, no need to buy a smudge pen, I already got ten of those

Back to sketch posting! Sketch 4 was while I was at ALA! I was told to sketch what I know, and I know about fairly decent diet soda... it was also directly in front of me for multiple hours...

No really, I've been sketching as much as I can, but IRL decided that regular posting wasn't going to work out. But, I have sketches to post while I catch back up to my original pace!

Day 3 was on-stream, learning about one-point perspective!

"Meaningful pushback" usually just sums up to "getting cancelled", which starts up a whole new grift.

It's hard to fully buy unto escapism right now.

Been thinking about this for a minute now: the Vtubing sphere is a messy mash-up of anime nerds, streamers, and gamers. All three have some desire for escapism, and all three have very loud minority of bad elements who will say some vile shit. They're loud because they get little meaningful pushback
