Every Tuesday night without fail, my new neighbours start drinking in the afternoon and end up blasting music and having screaming matches until around 3am. They’re not happy drunks that’s for sure.

I was watching Gladiators earlier with my 9 year old. She’s decided that I should apply to be on the next series because I’m strong and have big biceps. I mean she’s massively over estimated my physical ability but I’m extremely flattered that she thinks I’m strong. I’m no Eunice Huthart!

My new neighbour is getting pissed in the garden with her mates. They are just shouting and swearing at the top of their voices. The kids keep telling me what swear words they can hear. We can even hear them with all the windows and doors closed. Welcome to summer.

Trying to sleep after a night shift when the sun is shining is the absolute worst. And it’s school holidays. So I get to listen to the neighbours cutting the grass and chatting loudly and other peoples kids playing, when mine aren’t with me.

I have the next 6 days without my kids. It’s gonna be hard. It doesn’t happen that often but my youngest is not well and I just want to be cuddling up with her right now.

Today I did some online training for work. It was a group session via teams. It was made out to be ‘essential and very important’. It was actually someone telling me how to complete a datix form by reading out all the drop down options and info prompts. How is this someone’s job?

I hate that my oldest child is nearly 10 and I still have IVF debt. I wouldn’t change it for the world. The girls are my entire world. But I’m resentful of the debt and also that it’s left to me to single handedly repay when there were two of us that desperately wanted these children.

I missed a comedy gig last night because the kids dad didn’t have them. I accidentally let this slip to my 9 year old who then decided to put on an impromptu comedy show for me. She got a few good laughs. Very sweet of her.

Today in ‘only in Bristol’, we saw a man taking his polecat for a walk on a lead around a big retail park. My eldest thought it was an otter which made a few passersby chuckle. I thought it was a ferret. The man in question very proudly corrected us and told us it was clearly a polecat.

It’s really convenient how all of my ex’s problems happen on a Friday evening,once a fortnight, when he’s due to have the kids. So as usual I have to cancel my social plans and my work shifts.
Not to mention the upset it causes to my kids who don’t cope well with changes to routine

Went for a walk with the kids in the sunshine because it’ll be raining tomorrow. My Youngest collected leaves, my eldest raced me up a hill. I then fell over a rock like a complete plonker but I styled it out, did a roll and got back up again. Only my mud stained knees gave me away!

Yeah I wondered that too. Apparently people get paid to be Top users to keep people on the app and buying coins. If you don’t reply to people they generally keep messaging and messaging often using prompt questions. It’s all very weird. There also seemed to be a really high percentage of widows

In other news, I’ve had my first mini eggs of the year and they were good. Expensive but good. Easter is very late this year but we’re all being encouraged to buy eggs now. They usually come out in December. So I’ve held out until March. Go me!

It’s really bizarre. A friend of mine made me check it out. As far as I can tell it’s AI generated. I’m not convinced anyone on there is real. And why anyone would pay to buy coins to continue to use it after the free try it period is beyond me.

They’re genuinely expecting women to pay for ‘coins’ to message with these AI men, to read longer messages or listen to voicemails etc. umm no thanks. It’s certainly an eye opener. But I can’t see who would use it other than women who want/need fake compliments and bizarre conversations with AI.

Tried instantalks as a friend of mine had said I needed to see how bizarre it was. I’m like 95% sure it’s like AI ‘men’ talking. It’s surreal. There’s a lot of supposedly widowed men with a very similar look. And they just talk in prompts. I’m not sure why anyone would pay beyond the free try it bit

We also now seem to have a police presence on and around the school street every morning because parents are fighting about parking. The road rage is insane. They drive on the pavements as well as the road. and park whole cars on the pavement so that we have to walk in the road. It’s madness.

Well the neighbours were blasting music until 1am.Then they decided to wake up at 3am and just play 1 song really loud so they could shout and scream at each other.Then it started again at 6am. As a single female with young kids,I don’t feel I can confront them. I have no back up. I don’t feel safe.

I hate my new neighbours with a passion. They cannot close a door or cupboard door without slamming it. They stomp up and down the stairs. They shout and scream at each other all evening, especially after my kids have gone to sleep. I’m constantly on alert because of the noise.
