According to eyewitnesses, armed ICE agents dragged kids out of their beds in the middle of the night, zip tied them and put them in rented vans while raiding an * entire apartment building* on the South Side of Chicago.

My main observation from the last few hours of monitoring US social media is that Democrats are universally denouncing political violence and calling for calm while MAGA are escalating language and openly lusting for retribution against broad categories of people they identity as their enemies.

what people seem to believe is that there is a large number of criminal, layabout immigrants who can be easily found and deported. they support doing so snd are dismayed by the deportation of otherwise law abiding people. the problem is that the criminal group is imaginary!

Wonder if this might be something like Boston's Silver Line which is an electrified bus with overhead wires and sometimes separate roads/tunnels.

NEW: I'm told by a source familiar that ICE is also potentially planning to target Mundo Verde this week, a bilingual public elementary school in DC.

I've hit up ICE for comment on its plans in DC this week.
