Bog People book arrived today :)

People view writing as a static being, that it simply *wasn’t* and then *is*. Writing is a continuum that has both a pre and post existence of the finished text, and getting to the “finished text” is a process damaged by rigidity.

Really would love to finished both these in the next few days and begin a new novel..

If The Outsider is your favourite classic I’m assuming you started reading classic literature maybe a year ago..

I’d guess for publicity reasons and probably influenced by the likes of Dua Lipa’s interviews of authors etc. I have no real opinions on it though, I don’t know enough about SJP or her relationship with literature to comment further

Used the word “hole” eight times drafting a 150 word paragraph, that is future me’s problem. Ironically a synonym I could be using is “shaft”.

when it rains like this rivulets if water disturb the top soil and create small canyons that point to where the ground slopes. rocks are slowly polished and dispersed down the hill. the river is full today and threatening to expand its borders.
