Why aren’t AI companies putting chat in smart speakers? Seems like the most obvious battleground that nobody’s fighting for. They’re building wearables no one wants instead of upgrading what’s already in 100M+ homes.

You know how #ChatGPT gives bogus instructions for help with an app? "How do I export a single frame of a video in Apple Photos?" (spoiler: you can't.) It's giving an obvious way it *should* work. Ask about your own product features and get an intuitive way a user might expect it to behave. #uiux

And Jimi’s entire catalogue is untouchable. SRV got close but it’s still off, missing that hidden spark.

Radiohead does this sometimes as a band. But something about the solo singer songwriter makes it more hidden. Like they didn’t have to convey the secret to anyone. They just play it and the accompanying band follows. Joni Mitchell hits a similar vein.

The fact that all 3 sing while playing just shows how deep their skill sits in their brain. It’s not virtuoso noodling. It’s some connection with a different part of the songs than what we’re hearing

It’s 11, I just gave my son a bottle after watching Buckley’s Chicago set, and I can’t stop thinking about how otherworldly his guitar playing is.
