An inconvenient truth. @turnbulldugarte.com and @emiliabelknap.bsky.social puncture a pervasive myth. "Among young respondents aged 18-25, a very comfortable majority of women reject Reform UK (75%), and a similarly large majority of men in the same age group share the same view (71%)."

It's a great song and I am that old! I grew up listening in 'real time' to Buddy Holly, early Elvis, Eddie Cochran, not forgetting the Four Preps and "More Money for You and Me". A tragedy that Holly and Cochran had gone within a year of each other.

Here we come to raw royal power.
Two preliminary things to note.
First, the Crown is the fount of honours - see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fount_o...
Second, honours decisions cannot really be challenged by judicial review. It is not "justiciable".

Tweet by Taha Hadeed (@t-hadeed.bsky.social) on X listing cargo flights between UAE and Libya during October 2025
Part of the background to the fall of El Fasher and RSF atrocities there is the sustained airlift from the UAE to the RSF via Libya - sixty Il-76 flights during October alone.
For the past six months, Haftar-controlled eastern Libya has supplanted Chad as the RSF's most important supply route.

This is indeed good to hear. Principles matter. This is an important one. Would be good now for media to ask other leading Tories whether they support such principles, and also whether Badenoch feels those who question such principles can remain Conservative frontbenchers.
