Part of the original reasoning was because a band existed called Biohazard so I don't think they thought it was worth it to see if that would still be a problem. Also trademarking a title that generic might still be too much trouble which was supposedly another reason.

So the BBC promised Davidson and StudioCanal (who made I Swear) that any swearing tics would be edited out from broadcast, and instead they left them in despite a two hour delay, and even put a fucking microphone right in front of him to ensure they picked it up - he was sat at the back of room.

I blame knowing how VAT works here to giving it some practical examples. As VAT is normally included in the price and is a 20% tax. So if you want to figure out the VAT you have to divide it by 6, as the listed amount is 120% of the amount which is six 20s. So it's actually sixth from listed.

Well I stand corrected! Upon looking again only the title screen really stood out to me with some of the UI being scrambled there. But when comparing it with an actual shot there is some English still there which is just very clearly murdered in the process for sure.

Some of the early stuff was definitely so bad the people who made it really hated those parts as well.
To the point of mocking some of those parts (when and if able) in later episodes.

Notably the "Director's Cut" version removes this because they didn't want it either.
I think the DC is the version that's on the physical releases and it sucks Netflix got the "original" considering it's something nobody wanted except some suits to justify their "mature" channel image.
