Here is my checklist summarising a small set of some of the simplest tasks you can do that have high potential to improve the reproducibility of your analysis code.

01.07.2025 17:23 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Today the reconstruction of the 10.000 year old Mesolitic woman has been presented in Dinant (BE) by Isabelle de Groote van UGent
#Margaux #Mesolitic #UGent #reconstruction
Isnβt she just! There werenβt any material goods found in Grotte Margaux itself, we based the badger tooth pendant and other objects on finds and animals from other Mesolithic sites. I donβt think any of the ochre from the cave made it onto the bust, but having ochre on her forehead was considered!
17.06.2025 16:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A human cranium sits on a round black table next to a bust of a woman with tanned light brown skin, wearing a necklace made of a perforated badger tooth, and a headdress with upright feathers. She has dark hair wrapped up around the sides of the headdress, and the front of her hair is shaven. Her expression is intriguing, with pursed lips, prominent cheekbones, and eyes seeming to squint in the sunlight. In the background, the Meuse river flows between green fields and tree-covered hills and cliffs.
Great fun yesterday in the Meuse Valley where we showcased the fantastic Kennis brothers and @roam-ugent.bsky.social team's reconstruction of cranium 1 from the #Mesolithic Grotte Margaux!
