Score! I found the Alien rpg at a local game shop in the mall. I probably haven't bought a game at a local shop in the mall since the early 1990s. Double score.

This is a quote from the book Bone Silence. It is one of the most ignominious endings of a character I've ever heard:

"They buried her in two child-sized coffins. To save on cost."

I suspect that the author, Alastair Reyonds, played D&D with some of my friends.

I like it because you only have to say it once, but you can signal it by turning to face that player when talking to someone else. Repeat as long as it amuses everyone.

Eventually, that will get under people's skin, and you should crank it back. But you can always dig it up for fun.

D&D scenario I'm noodling on:

A curse on a player's character where the character can hear everything the DM says in session as a disembodied voice.

That is epic!

Well, I was mad the Sabres lost... Until I released they just pulled off 10 wins in a row and now have a playoff chance. It'll take some more hard work to get there, it is possible. They didn't have that chance 11 games ago.
