Have I done a single thing I have to do? No. Did we just decide on a family Halloween costume for the annual party? Fuck yeah we did. So I’m gonna just say that’s a win and call it a day.

3 clients have big things happening with their work and I’m beyond geeked out! Good people who put in the work and I have this proud mom vibe going on right now.

Standing outside the gym listening to the end of the previous class and nothing has ever made me want to go back home more. Like the energy they have… I do not. I have not. I want to be in pajamas. Abort mission. Ugh. It’s one hour. It’s only one hour.

I’d say read as many scripts as you can. Script slug is pretty useful. And the book your screenplay sucks is brutally titled and not used by enough writers!

My fiance and I are having a debate. What is the most logical amount of time between alarms going off in the morning. When you hit snooze, how many minutes before the next goes off?

Took a writing break to play with paint. Now to workout because ya know, health and wedding and… society? Then back to writing for the rest of the night.

Sat here for 10 minutes trying to think of the name of it. I was in high school. I’m 42 now & there have been an unhealthy amount in between… the first I ever liked was in film school. I believe that was called the wheels on the bus. It was a dark comedy about suicide. So yeah, I’ve always been me.

My nighttime anxiety kept me up until two then my daytime anxiety woke me up at six. I might not be working these days, but my anxiety is putting in hours. That check (I assume my early death) is gonna be huge.

Such a blue week so far. I’m tied of losing people who brought joy when there are so many other options.

Ozzy Osbourne visited my magic shop. He said he'd like to buy some stink bombs. How many? All of them. I had to go through drawers finding every last one. He bought 900 of them. To sign the credit card slip I handed him a shock pen, which he thought was hilarious and bought that too. RIP

The fiance is sound asleep. I’m absolutely exhausted but I was working on a horror/comedy feature before bed and turns out I scared myself. I was trying to amp up the horror and maybe, just maybe that is a project I only work on in the daytime. But also, mission accomplished.

My fiance doesn’t drink and I’ve drank a lot less lately due to… just trying to be a healthier person (broke as hell) but tonight I had two glasses of wine and now I’m smashed beyond belief.

Using classpass for 14 days for free to try different gyms. I’ve sampled some cool places in the past week. Yesterday was motivate for Pilates. And yeah. So far it wins. Hardest workout I’ve done. Legit can’t move. Also legit can’t afford it normally but damn if I could.

No but only because that’s my least favorite part of life. But we have a producer and director attached so hopefully we keep going in that direction and I can just say “watch it, you might like it” 😂

3 projects with 3 different teams all basically in the will they won’t they stage. Dont mind me as I teeter on the edge.

Being an adult is so cool you get to stay up as late as you want and eat whatever you want and get back pain and heart burn and return emails and pay taxes and sit on the phone with the car insurance and pay someone to fix your garbage disposal wait

Umm yesterday one of my reps told me my last pilot is the best thing I’ve written and I’m gonna find a way to inject that comment into my veins daily.

My fiance sleep talks. But tonight he sleep turned on the tv and holy shit that was terrifying.

Am I unable to sleep because of a stomach ache? Existential dread? The fact that the fiance cooked salmon tonight and the house held the smell with a death grip? Who knows. It feels like an all of the above type of evening.

We toured venues in 100 degree heat and now I’m a slug on a couch but I will say you know when you hate something much easier when you’re sweating.
