#LTHEchat A6 I LOVE this question! We need quick, fluid activities - and slow thoughtful ones: Slow writing together in class. Another is asking students to find a picture that represents the subject/essay for them - and to sit with it for 30mins making notes... and only then to start writing.

I think we should aspire to more than that! Not much good interrogative journalism out there any more! Look what they swallow from whatever the socalled Office for Students have to say about anything? #LTHEchat

#LTHEchat A4 I work from home and mostly alone - I can use GenAI to have 'conversations' about topics I'm thinking about - and as said previously - my big testing approach is to ask: What would Foucault/Freire/hooks say about that?

#LTHEchat A3 A key strategy is to use the GenAI when you already know a lot about the subject - and about how active we need to be in our own learning - then - I find it good to challenge the answers - my favourite challenge ATM is: "What would Foucault say about that?"

Encyclopedia of Postdigital Science and Education Encyclopedia of Postdigital Science and Education brings together the voluminous knowledge on scholarly research and learning in our postdigital condition. Since its first public appearance in 2000, the concept of the postdigital has entered mainstream in research fields from philosophy through arts to education. During the past years, we are witnessing a rapid growth in number of academic books and articles dealing (explicitly and implicitly) with education and research in and for the postdigital age. Very enjoying first time taking part in #LTHEchat tonight. A hashtag chat about taking and making notes (two of my favourite things) - what’s not to love!

A6 I'm entertained conceptually by displays of visual notetaking, artistic notes, it's great for people to find these ways of displaying how their minds work, but alas, mine will always be the scrawl. It is most effective in marker pens on big paper, but I think that's bc it's most fun. #LTHEchat

I have also heaerd of people making a collage reflection at the end of each month - I like that idea - but have not yet tried it :-/ #LTHEChat

I do a monthly reflection exercise (suggested by @ushmagudka.bsky.social) in which I take myself off for coffee and answer the same questions of myself. It really helps me to be aware of how much I’m doing, appreciating my achievements and progress and what I’ve said no to #LTHEchat A6
