You're repeating what I said now. This is why I generally never bother to read replies. Must find the mute! Deemed export is not really "paid to export" when there are also export tariffs. ASHP, battery and EV, I'm not exporting anything at the moment, but still being paid the export portion.

I did read that too, but was referring specifically to the headline "Are you one of the 800,000 households on the Feed-in Tariff paid to generate and export electricity?" Which on FIT, you're not. (I am on FIT too.)

Ok, but the FIT is not connected to selling exports to the grid. It's based on generation and a deemed export of 50% of generation. Which you get even if you don't export anything at all. An export tariff is different, requiring the householder to give up the deemed export part of the payment.

No. It's been fine all evening, then as soon as I channel hop up to ITV or C4 I get that again. Last night it was on 1 and 2 as well. I did a factory reset on my set top box last night (Humax) to try to remove its feeble network attempts altogether but that hasn't helped. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Do ofcom take any notice of complaints from people who write because of a campaign, and didn't actually watch whatever it was broadcast? Used to be that they did not carry much if any weight.

At least you get the message. I have a stupid set top box which claims to connect to the internet for streaming, but can stream less than a dripping tap and is now covering C4 with this, which I cannot get rid of but I assume is related.
