We had lovely views of this male Southern Hawker (Aeshna cyanea) on our walk on Saturday. He posed very nicely on some blackberries. (We ate lots of blackberries on the walk too! ๐) #odonata @britishdragonflies.bsky.social

Another fantastic Dragonflies on the Bog volunteer training event took place this weekend at Corrour! โจ
All three of our rare species, were found amongst other peatland specialists and a whopping total of 168 larvae were found across the recently restored pools we surveyed.
