I am saddened to hear of the passing of Bruce Tobey today. As a city councilor, mayor, and private citizen, Bruce was committed to Gloucester. My condolences go out to the entire Tobey family and his numerous friends.

Strengthening pathways in STEM and vocational skills helps our students prepare for the jobs of today and tomorrow.

As your state representative, I will continue working to bring dollars to our schools to invest in innovative programs that give our students a real leg up in their education.

Thank you to everyone who came out last weekend to make our kickoff a tremendous success! It was humbling to see so many friends come out in support of this campaign. Together, we can keep Cape Ann moving forward and build a stronger future for everyone.

Happy Chanukah to all those who celebrate! I was honored to join members of the Cape Ann Jewish community for the lighting of the first light of the Rockport menorah this evening. Even in adverse weather, a joyful and resilient crowd gathered to sing, pray, and celebrate life.

Gloucester City Hall is a unique treasure. Thank you to Maggie Rosa for giving me a tour of the bell tower, a history of the restoration efforts, and what is still needed in order to protect the building and the neighborhood around it.

Another piece of @repamf.bsky.social's legacy: expanded cancer treatment options for the residents of Massachusetts. She strongly supported the effort by UMass Memorial to bring proton radiation therapy to their facility, giving patients in central and western Massachusetts an option closer to home.

It is with a broken heart that we announce the loss of our dear friend and mentor Representative Ann-Margaret Ferrante, who passed away at the age of 53 after a long and brave journey with pancreatic cancer.

Our DPW workers do important work — often work that is not often recognized or talked about. I'm glad that they have this new facility to help them keep Rockport running.

Congratulations to the Sawyer Free Library on the ribbon cutting and grand reopening of the new, expanded library! Knowledge is the most precious gift that one can give. This library will be giving that gift to the residents of Cape Ann for generations to come.

I am proud of our state for making sure that Massachusetts residents who want or need to receive vaccines will continue to have access to them, especially caregivers and people who have immunocompromising health conditions through no fault of their own.
