Gyokeres & Eze really good - albeit not sure they’ll get all that space against anyone else.

Full weeks rest now before Chelsea. Havertz back hopefully.

Hard to describe this as anything other than a “bottle job”. Lack of quality up front but we also lost our nerve that 2nd half, was so obvious to see.

Having lots of options is not having the best squad in the league. I’d trade Gyokeres, Jesus and Martinelli for one elite attacker.

4-0 v Wigan.

Not much to go by there. Kill it early and see it out, job done. Nice bit of rest for some players but it’s all about Wolves & Spurs this week.

Wolves should be fine.

Worried about going to Spurs now. I doubt us in what will be a big moment that they’ll be up for all of a sudden.

Not sure I’ve really looked at us and seen a title winning team this season. The thing about defences winning titles is such an old troupe, firepower wins titles now. Always thought if City got their act together they’d pip us. Still not over but feel it’s slipping away.

I’m not sure we’re actually that good to be honest. We’re efficient but when did we last win a game when our backs were against the wall?

The ending to that match was really bad, lucky not to lose it.

Feel like we lost this league when City won at Anfield. Time will tell.

Think tonight is the biggest game of our season so far. Laid the gauntlet to City last week and to be fair they got a win at Anfield.

They sent it back to us last night, can we answer it? Brentford away is tough.

Felt more tense than the scoreline. These home games against smaller teams are a hard watch!

Sunderland really tested Saliba in the air and not sure what was going on with Calafiori.

9 points clear with City going to Anfield is superb! YNWA!!

Nothing burger. Kept them at arms length. Was never our match to go win. Scenes at the end!

The difference between the Carabao Cup 3rd round to now is crazy. That 3rd round is whatever, not too fussed if we crashed out. Now, I am dying to win tonight. Walking out at Wembley in a final would be amazing! Prem is there for us, but a couple other trophies too, nothing like a cup final day.

What’s even better…City away at anfield next week. Whatever you think of Liverpool this season, City aren’t going there to win.

Ended up being a fun day! I feel like Madueke will explode one day. Rice looked determined from minute 1.

Gyokeres coming into a bit of form now. Still doesn’t look premier league level but hopefully can maintain his goal rate.

3-2 win v Kairat

Almost nothing to gain from that. Nice to see Havertz back but the real response to Sunday will be against Leeds Saturday. Leaky defence at Arsenal all of a sudden.

That being said 8 out of 8 is superb work. Should get to the latter stages of this competition and then who knows.

Havertz is only 4 goals away from being our top scorer this season 😭

I get that I’ve done the same. From TV it felt like really early on at the slightest wobble the crowd lost their bottle a bit. We controlled the game for the first 30mins conceded and lost our way, it turned so quick. Felt uncomfortable - everyone super tense and it’s only Jan!

I hate the bottle narrative, I always think it’s deeper than that but today it’s hard to see past it.

Couldn’t have gone any worse. We lost the match twice. City will see that and be inspired.

Home games are really uncomfortable now. Whole stadium lost their arse on 35 mins.

We were the better team - considerably - for the first 35 minutes until we made a mistake then wobbled for a bit.

Our fans have completely lost their heads here. A couple of misplaced passes or heavy touches and the whole stadium moaning & groaning.

Actually embarrassing and awkward to watch.

Can someone talk some sense into me? I’m not really pessimistic but the vibes going into today are all off.

Resurgent, new-manager Man Utd with no pressure vs two 0-0 in a row Arsenal with the pressure of an Emirates crowd expecting something BIG.

I can’t forget the Liverpool match.

First premier league game for that ref too. Fair play for sticking to his guns.

Chalk & cheese between Jesus/Gyokeres. If fit enough, I’d play Jesus against Man Utd. Bit of pressure off matches in Champions League, almost no anxiety.

Quick word for MLS, thought he looked better than recent matches.

Had the privilege to watch the match on Saturday at the Arsenal bar in Mexico City. Met some proper cool, passionate Gonners out there! If you’re in CDMX make sure you head there for a match!

My take is actually that was fine, they had NOTHING and we had more than enough chances to get a goal. Bad day at the office with finishing but if you told me we’d extend by a point yesterday I’d take it. Especially considering we wasted 60 minutes with Gyokeres up front.

We were so so poor, not sure what happened. Worst I’ve seen us on the ball.

Liverpool from last season turned up and we looked like the away team. If anyone was going to win it, it would have been them.

A point not bad after City dropped points last night.

Feels like everything’s flipped. We’re scoring goals, City struggling. We’re getting players back, City picking up cluster injuries.

6 points is not much - especially considering we go their place - but it’s also some position to be in.
