When people say they are suspicious of science it's like oh you're suspicious of people trying things and writing it down? And other people trying those same things to see if the same thing happens and writing that down? That's a sketchy process to you?

When I was young I was taught that it was correct to say "people WHO like apples" because people have identities. That was part of how language weaves in the fact that people aren't things. Now, it's definitely ok to say "people THAT like apples" and can I just say I'm IRKED about it?
