Part of the issue on housing is *preserving* affordable housing and when long-term tenants move out because their services are being reduced, we are not *preserving* affordable housing, but allowing the landlord to put the unit back on the market at a higher rental rate.

I’ve seen a lot of comments on this from YIMBYs who do not really understand the issue with removing parking w/o a long-term rent reduction.

& that reduction in services by landlords can have the secondary effects of displacement and allows a landlord to get around Rent Stabilization Laws.
