I don't know about other Johnson press briefings but with regard to the briefing this morning, Johnson ended the briefing after answering the question asked by a journalist in this video clip.

The reporter did use the word feces in the article. Here's the description of the video from the article: "The fake video, set to the song 'Danger Zone' by Kenny Loggins, shows the plane dropping a brown liquid resembling feces onto the heads of protesters, who appeared to be gathered in a city.'

Unlike a lot of people on Bluesky, I'm not upset that the Times didn't use the word feces in the headline since they used the word in the article itself. However, if they had not used the word in the article itself, I would have been very upset.

Most Republicans, I think, don't know what Socialism is. They just know that most Americans who don't know much about politics associate Socialism with a lot of bad things. The thing is, though, most Scandinavian countries are Democratic Socialists & most of the people there are doing well.

They also described it as a brown liquid resembling feces.

I don't think so. A lot of people got upset because they only read the headline & the first paragraph of the article b/c the word feces doesn't appear in them. That word appears in the third paragraph of the article.

Yes. They did. "The fake video, set to the song 'Danger Zone' by Kenny Loggins, shows the plane dropping a brown liquid resembling feces onto the heads of protesters, who appeared to be gathered in a city." www.nytimes.com/2025/10/19/u...

I know the headline doesn't use the word feces but the article does so how does the article attempt to minimize the content of the video?

Not true. In the article itself, the reporter used the word feces: "The fake video, set to the song 'Danger Zone' by Kenny Loggins, shows the plane dropping a brown liquid resembling feces onto the heads of protesters, who appeared to be gathered in a city."

I think whoever wrote the headline didn't do a good job but I think the reporter did a good job of describing the video.

Yes. That shot was impressive but do you know what else is impressive? The fact that cinematographer Karl Freund filmed some of the scenes in the film by strapping an eight kilogram (17.6 lb) camera to his body! www.reddit.com/r/silentmovi...

I think the NY Times can do a better job of covering Trump but to their credit they did accurately described in the article what Trump dropped from the plane in the AI video. It would have been nice if they had mentioned the word feces in the headline but I'm not upset that they didn't do that.
