Almost every day I get angry about how they took scrollbars away from us. When present at all they are tiny and nearly invisible.

I was so disappointed with it when it came out because it didn't resolve anything... Watched it again last year and it is really such a beautiful and tragic movie. I totally missed that the first time around because of my own expectations.

I think what the other person is getting at - kinda unnecessarily rudely imho - is that gerrymandering also hugely impacts voter turnout. If people feel like their votes don't matter then they don't show up even for elections where they 100% do matter. Or maybe they are imying something else? /shrug

I think the big thing is: child is gender nonconforming in some vague way, and then is involuntarily committed - presumably by the father. That is, he got so far gone, that he is locking up his kid.

The FBI just raided some Georgia election related offices. The might "find" some evidence there (that they created and planted).

Make it longer than you think it needs to be. I've extended mine twice and I still think it should be longer.

Consider tapering as you go down. I'm a roundish person, but it still got very baggy at the bottom.

Oh... I couldn't disagree more! I thought Hopper was terribly miscast. He's by far the worst Ripley accross all version in my opinion.

Yeah, I think the point is to try to clarify to people: this can happen to you. It isn't just happening to "them".

A LOT of people seem unable to empathize or care until things directly touch them.

My role is mainly supporting other library staff (IT specifically). So when I can occasionally see that work that I did helped them, it makes it feel worthwile.

Calling things "distractions" misses the point. Sure Trump 2 is worse than Trump 1, but they have always used this strategy: keep adding shit to the pile so people talk about the new shit and not the old shit.
