The amount of people I know who have been laid off from games industry jobs and are deciding to leave games entirely as a result is not only extremely saddening (of course), but also genuinely scary. We have lost legitimately thousands of years of knowledge and experience in the last four years.

I've seen complaints about Xenoblade, how the level 5 bunny at the start has a million health and takes forever, but I think Legends Z-A provides a pretty good argument for why you want your battles to be long enough to actually require a strategy

I made an idle game 20 years ago! In 'The New Land' you'd build farms, plant trees and build houses until you hit reached the villager goal. Sort of intrigued to remake this and see how my skills have improved since then!

The new Pokémon game is fine, but I'm sad that "in the distant past" and "big open areas" isn't a staple of the Legends series.

I spent hours & hours in Arceus wandering around, catching Pokémon, just existing there. With the Pokédex back to one stamp for caught and that's it? A lot of appeal gone

I realized I’ve been sort of mourning the internet lately. It’s odd. This ‘place’ that used to contain a wealth of actually valuable information, and introduced me to many people I now call friends, and which paved the way for my career, has almost completely rotted away. It’s not coming back.
