More than $2M going to support victims of domestic violence in Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and First Lady Britainy Beshear awarded $2,110,702 in federal grant funding through the Violence Against Women Act to the recipients.

44 local chambers of commerce sent a letter yesterday to the General Assembly saying Kentucky needs Pre-K for All. Pre-K is good for business. It's time we did the right thing and invested in our kids, our future and our economy.

Kentucky arts help create good jobs, build vibrant communities, and invite more people and businesses to visit – or even relocate to – our commonwealth. It was great to recognize leaders today who are fueling this $6.9 billion industry and making a difference.

Investing in America creates good jobs, strong communities and a bright future. I'm thankful for companies like GE Appliances making that a priority.
