16.10.2025 02:03 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 1Whether you bike for recreation, exercise or your commute, bike infrastructure plays a major role in how comfortable you feel getting around on two wheels. The Colorado nonprofit PeopleForBikes ranks bike networks across the country and gives them a population-weighted "City Ratings" score out of 100. With an average score of 48, Wisconsin's bike networks rank behind only those in New York and Alaska. A bike network is the sum of all the bike infrastructure in a given city, from protected bike lanes and connected trails to safe intersections and more.
Excuse me New York (makes sense) and Alaska are the two top states for cycling? Unless the snow is covering all of the protected bike lanes I think there may be a problem with the model here.

Seven years ago today, Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi was tortured, murdered and then dismembered. And any so-called comedian who can't stand up tonight in Riyadh and do ten minutes on that kind of hijinx and horseplay just isn't worth the Saudi blood money he's being paid.
