Timbers agreed a fee around $6m.

He's been healthy this year - but last year he had a foot injury (could be trouble) and appendicitis (non-issue).

I think the main reason NYRB parted ways was the loan ending, and they wanted more of a 6 for their double and this guy looks to be an 8.

His loan from Gremio expired in June, and NYRB just signed a DM for like 3m.

As long as the option isn't ridiculous I think the loan aspect bumps this signing up to the A range.

I'd imagine he is competing with João and Paredes for that role as an 8.

I don't know much about the Greek League and I know less about the Polish one, but this guy looks like he can dribble in tight spaces, weight his passes appropriately, and isn't afraid to rip shots - (at least based on his highlight reel)

Looks like he is best at LW but fbref says that he spent most of his time in Greece at AM. Do you think this is another LW/CAM Tweener like DDC? If so, I'm excited to watch them slide

1) If Kamal is the best CB on the team, you're in trouble. If Kamal is the worst CB on the field, your defense is good.

2) He balled out last night against a team that he should have balled out against. But he's also singlehandedly lost us games by trying to do what he did last night.

Yeah - perhaps. The key factor is age imo. CP was 19 when he arrived (27yo now) - plenty of time to develop skills.

Ortiz is 29. I think any improvement from Ortiz will come from learning the system.

Yeah I think it's too early to write him off completely, but I've seen enough. Rotation player.
