One thing that bugs me about Samus in Metroid Prime 4 is just how boring she is, nodding along while these pissants fawn for her and beg for help.
My preferred characterization is from Dread, where she oscillates between casually 'over this shit' and totally unhinged.
French RPGs, playable TV shows, and a new era of Nintendo made this year an onslaught of gaming goodness.

Metroid has always been my favorite Nintendo series, and I've been cautiously optimistic about Prime 4. Based on the preview, I'm still cautious. The small slice was a little too linear, too simple, and gave Samus an *escort mission.*
