I was there for a covid antibody infusion bc my body doesn’t seem to do a great job with the whole immunity thing. I get an iron infusion there next week.

I use an Aranet to track the co2 & it’s a fairly well ventilated hospital, but I stay masked, regardless.

The infusion centre was thankfully quiet, I got a room with a functioning door & the nurses were all understanding.

It’s just very exhausting & frustrating to have to watch unmasked people endangering themselves & others in a cancer/infusion centre for no damn good reason.

Pemgarda is on board, doing the 2 hour observation now. I have peed so many times, I was so hydrated, yet still had to have three different people (with the vein scanner!) poke me before getting the line in. Makes me miss my Hickman.

This place is a little weird, but there's a door on the room.

This is also the same place that has the severe lily allergy signs & the metal detectors/security searches.

Nothing but surgicals on the rns, but they've been very understanding about keeping the door closed (individual rooms!) & actually having the masks on their face, a huge improvement over the private clinic I had my last Pemgarda (covid antibody) infusion at.

Back at the infusion/cancer centre waiting for a room & the one patient who came in with a mask pulled it down to make a phone call.

5 women in here, one very pregnant & I’m the only one masked (aside from the check in desk, but she had her black surgical under her chin)

I have to sit in an infusion centre for like 3+ hours tomorrow on this, the very big day of Fountain Pens & their sales.

I will probably spend too much money & from a shop that has no sales/promos (only bc they have a pen I want).
