Space Force is an incredibly unserious waste of taxpayer money. And that’s coming from a sci-fi author.

A dozen or more transgender members of the U.S. Air Force who had sought early retirement to avoid being discharged for their gender identity have had those retirements canceled. Each has served between 15 and 18 years.

Today is the 80th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, Japan.

The dropping of the atomic bomb onto a civilian target is the greatest single wartime atrocity any country has ever committed. And the USA did it twice.

Fly is short for Flydrique.
Moth is short for Motthew
And Bee is short for Abeegail.

People think Ant is short for Anthony, and sometimes it is. But it’s also short for Antoinette.

Did anyone else hear about the government research experiment where they were feeding cannabis to beef cattle? Apparently, they had to cancel the entire project.

The steaks were just too high.

Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein should be required reading for anyone even remotely interested in science fiction. We wouldn’t have the modern sci-fi genre without this book or, more importantly, its female author.

Just got a 4-Star review that said “Dreamweavers, LLC is one of the strangest books I’ve read this year.”

So… mission accomplished.

I just want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who bought HoG over the last few days (and the days to come).

I know buying a book for less than a dollar seems like no big deal on an individual level, but it translates to hundreds of new readers in possession of my work. It’s incredible🙏

You have got to be so morally bankrupt to look at people at their lowest — having abandoned or lost (or both) everything they’ve ever known — and think them somehow monstrous, evil, and deserving of suffering.

I hope to never know that feeling.

If you’re gonna punch someone in the face as hard as you can, make sure you tell everyone you only did it because they were definitely considering hitting you first and that if they hit you back, that wouldn’t be in the spirit of making peace.

A lot of artists are already doing exactly that. It’s one of the sturdier ways to prove they’re not just punching a sentence or two into a GenAI program.

I suspect including progress reports/images/videos will become more standard going forward.
