A big ol' soil pit! The deep soil, on the other hand, is dug with a 8' long auger

This week, Maxbass 6SW was installed and Mohall 1W was upgraded. Both stations have soil moisture, deep soil temperatures, an all-season precipitation gauge, and a camera!
Additionally, an all-season gauge was added at Niles 3SE, which was immediately rain tested 🌧 #ndwx
