Just called Laura Gillen’s office to ask her to stop talking about Mamdani. This is another blatant lie. Her residents (I’m one of them) are not making her speak out against Mamdani.

I'm OK with Democrats going on Fox News to counter misinformation and debate the conservative hosts or moderators. Going on Fox News to slam another Democrat should get you stripped of your committee assignments and DCCC funding.

This is true, but my congresswoman Laura Gillen goes on right wing news to bash her fellow democrats, which is extremely disloyal and destructive. Here in NY-04 we don’t need republicans to pull us back when the “democrat” is doing it.

I guess my point is, she should not still be considered one of their congresspeople after her actions this year. They shouldn’t stand for the disloyalty she’s shown.

They support the candidate I’m trying to primary even after her extreme party disloyalty. I’ve asked them to justify this and they don’t respond, so I’m replying here.

Today I wrote my House Rep, Laura Gillen, to inform her that I would not support her for re-election. That’s the consequence for voting “yes” to honor a racist, bigot and hate-monger. Honor the lives of every child who died in a school shooting for his 2A rights instead.

Do you live in NY-04? How many times have you canvassed in NY/04? How many democrats are you in contact with in NY-04?

Hey everybody: believe it or not, I’m not the only progressive person on Long Island. Some of us are working to find a candidate to primary Laura Gillen.

Some of us are! Painting all of Long Island like this doesn’t help.

But alienating the people who do support Mamdani and candidates like him is just fine with Jay Jacobs and Laura Gillen. They do nothing but punch left.

I don't think people elsewhere understand what a mess the Democrats are in New York. They are held together with chewing gum. That they have any hold at all is thanks purely to New York City. Not the party in New York City but the city. That's all. As a political organization they are a disgrace.

Jay Jacobs lost Dems the House in 2022. He should have resigned already.

He should have been fired in 2022 after NY Dems personally prevented democrats from winning the House. Unbelievable he’s had this job as long as he had. He’s done monumental damage.
