I could not get myself to think specifically and linearly no matter how hard I tried. And then I gave up and it got lighter.

Depends. First half, I would have been writing about the Middle Passage for a doctoral program or walking on the beach. The second half, I would have been closing out my desktop computer at HP to drive home to the Santa Cruz mountains.

I’m dying how Elon had to illegally immigrate from South Africa & get himself installed illegally as a guy with major sway in (formerly) the most powerful nation in the world to start lobbying to bring apartheid back & steal land back for white settlers from Black Africans. Way to seize the moment.

A year and a half ago, I listened to a webinar that was talking about how culturally similar and appearing some Israelis are with Palestinians. The same bio region produced these two groups of people going back hundreds of years. How did it come to this? White supremacist capitalism.
