I still miss Darren Watts terribly. I hadn't realized how used to I had become during COVID to talking to him about everything from game design to movies to comic books, etc, usually in quick Discord chats or before one of his games started. Somehow he became the big brother I didn't know i needed

I think Ozzy was like most people -- a mix of good, bad, and trying hard while sometimes failing. But the fact that he used his last days to raise money for charity and his kids knew that he loved them says a lot IMO.

Living life so that you're missed when the time comes isn't a bad philosophy
