I'm down to gloat and enjoy schadenfreude but also-- what could it mean? Any force making jobs vanish is concerning.
Interesting; So not only do bullets lack stacking of the ship velocity, but something else is happening?
Even if velocity doesn't stack from the ship movement, moving forward should clump them anyways, so what did you discover as the mechanic behind this effect?

On my lunch-break I finished this "Wave Editor" for foes in my upcoming #shmup is finally feature complete. Took ages to realize all the things that I need, and I could do more still to make it cozier.
This means my time can be spent on the actual game, which means more streams.

This cover very subtly hints at the "light/dark" mechanics the game has with the ultra bright sunlit upper half of the ship contrasting with the exaggerated shadow beneath.
It's somehow a busy image with a clean and elegant "top layer" to contrast the chaotic detail behind it.

That flash shader was actually very confusing to implement due to the wacky shading techniques I used to make it look pixelly and crunchy.

When I worked there, I was met with "why is it so slow? It used to be so fast."
The people who profited most didn't know what happened under their roof.
I worked at a particular studio in the Toronto VFX scene for a year and a bit. I later let amazing riggers and TDs who were there before my time, and they mentioned the tech they set up.
There was no evidence of that tech remaining. Hours of investment in rig propagation and pipeline evaporated--
Saw a cringey rigging bug in a major trailer for something cool.
But I didn't say anything. Rigging is hard enough.
Please! Justify our investment! Please! We spent _so much money on servers_... People who make more in a day than you do in a year are really scared right now!
