I get it. Inflation can be tackled in many ways. High rates slow spending by making debt expensive. Tariffs and taxes do the same by raising costs. If tariffs stay, rates need to drop to keep the economy moving. Issue is tariff revenue will go down, increasing debt. Short sighted.

Growing up in the 80s as a kid of immigrants, one parent working days & nights, I learned English from Sesame Street & cartoons. By 2nd grade, I was an advanced reader—thanks in part to PBS. Without it, that wouldn’t have happened. Losing PBS now feels heartbreaking.

Growing up I learned about ALS because of Lou Gehrig. Remember reading & hearing how rare it was. I hardly heard of people getting ALS in the news, now it seems to be more common. Read because of an aging population, but Lou Gehrig got it in his 30's. Should NIH & RFK Jr be looking at this instead?

I believe the nightlife scene got ruined by specialty cocktails. When we used to go out you get a whiskey & coke, vodka/soda, beer, and maybe a G&T. Bartenders made them quick, high volume so no need to charge $20/drink. Spent more time talking to women than the bartenders.

This was the first time that I saw the Knicks down 18 to 20 pts in the 3rd quarter and was not nervous. Which is nice but man why make it so hard on the fans, great emotion at end (more so because of come back) but would like one game to just relax.

I try to use a restaurant's website to order for pickup instead of UberEats, DoorDash, etc. so they do not get undercut. And 1 restaurant gives lesser quality & quantity when I order on their page but get more & better quality on the apps. Maybe for the score? Anyone else?

Why isn't MAHA getting mad that Trump is calling EU's blocking of GMO Corn as against Trade? I thought we wanted to have less GMO & no dyes. These are banned in EU. BTW GenZ back in 90's we banned Brit beef bc MadCow disease. These bans are normal esp. with agri/meat products.

Just want to put this out there, keep in mind that mortgages are tied to the 10 yr rate (the rates based on what we sell our treasuries) not the Fed Funds rate (i.e. Powell). The 10 yr is usually a representation of how investors feel about our economy. Higher the rate the lower the sentiment.
