Excellent journalism and scholarly analysis about an impending disaster for Americans. In addition to shutting down rural public media stations, it will have a significantly deleterious impact on the production of new documentaries.

THE FRONTIER EXPERIENCE print, alas, matches its reel! Gone pink. A bit of twist in the film. No sprocket damage or tape splices. In good shape 'cept for that color thang.

I like the "Recommended Films", "Recommended Books" section. So great to see the broad perspective. As a former consumer of in-class films, I don't ever recall these being shared in full. Teacher may have used them for Q&A but not handouts; difficult to photocopy can lid interiors back then.

Not all immigration stories come as Hollywood productions. This “Screen News Digest” 16mm educational film from 1965 (represented here by its study guide) tells a story that is still relevant today.

Thank you for reminding us of his ELECTRIC COMPANY stints. This one is terrific. I grew up on his albums which my parents got as soon as they came out.
