I saw this at a festival in a circus tent with a live mini orchestra playing the soundtrack whilst on a moderate amount of mushrooms. It is a core memory.

The problem is streaming, but started with sharing digital music. If bands can’t sell their music then all the money has to come from tours / merch.

Once I left the office and he was chatting to Sir Patrick Stewart in the corridor (rehearsing for ‘waiting for Godot’) and my first thought was ‘oh, there’s Gandalf chatting to the captain of the USS Enterprise. 🙂

Where I work is rehearsal spaces for the theatre, he’s been in a number of times, effortlessly charming, but about 20 years ago before I worked here, i met him in a pub in Soho, he was wearing a white linen suit, with a white Panama hat, neither before or since have I ever seen someone look so cool.
