Everything the pro-Israel media think the pro-Palestine movement is (racist, extremist, building up violent hate) is actually happening with the anti-migrant “March for Australia” but with a fraction of the outrage.

Three different governments (fed, NSW, Vic) passed laws restricting protest and speech following media pressure that alleged the protest movement was fuelling violent anti-semitism.

Now we know that link was entirely spurious, yet none of the people responsible want to acknowledge it.

The media blamed pro-Palestine protesters for firebombings. Will they apologise? Every major arson attack targeting a synagogue is now alleged to have been perpetrated by organised criminals, or Iran. So why were protestors blamed?

Every single publicised arson attack on a synagogue has now been linked to criminal gangs and/or Iran.

You’d imagine this would be front page news, considering how the media has sought to blame pro-Palestine protestors for two years.

But it’s nowhere.

I fixed this post myself. Just so we're clear, we can have a difference of iced or hot coffee. But no, you cannot support a party that glorifies hate and is actively trying to take rights away from certain demographics, and expect a friendship from those same demographics. Hope this helps!

I agree with this - I’m deeply sceptical of corporate/managerial DEI stuff that is really just about attempting to kneecap real racial justice demands, but Dutton / media reporting isn’t critiquing from that perspective. They just prefer the status quo where whites hold disproportionate power.
