Cliche. Occasionally looking for references to obscure commercials. Mostly waiting for public observation of notable deaths. Background is a painting by Caillebotte. Avatar is a clock.

The number of words I misspell daily is increasing with age and it throws a void into my stomach every time I see one.

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.

Always so disturbing, this internet thing. Maybe we should all quit it and go back to books.

For reasons I don’t understand people give these to me as gifts. I throw them away as fast as humanly possible. Bad vibes man.

Oil is the most Lovecraftian thing that actually exists. You're telling me that there's a black ichor under the earth, made from the ancient dead, whose burning can realize all the dreams of man but only at the price of slowly returning the earth to its primordial state?

In my series on his symptoms, I reposted a picture of him, and it was just too nauseating so I got rid of it.

Yes, medically, everything we see about him is symptomatic. His face-painting. His listing mouth. His affect. His public sleeping. His swelling. His diaphoresis.

It can go on for years.

The Twilight Zone (1985) Intro HD
YouTube video by FlorΓn MC The Twilight Zone (1985) Intro HD

Recently themes from 80s tv shows have been percolating in my subconscious, unbidden. There is one gem among the detritus. The Grateful Dead provided the impressionistic, abstract theme for the only successful Twilight Zone reboot. Anthologies age badly, this one is killer. youtu.be/2Znqt2b8CKQ?...

It’s not new either, Twitter’s algorithmic timeline induced documented cases of psychosis as early as 2012/13. Victims were labeled as already at-risk, mostly because it was still considered unusual at that time for people to spend multiple hours a day using the platform. It was a lot of people.

Ive recently had to adjust to someone new that is void of empathy. It’s always a hurdle, but in this case I fell into the usual trap of wondering what was behind the gaps, what words must they be hearing, instead of remembering it’s always depersonalized gibberish, a fake scaffold.
