Guys they are really, really not winning

It sucks what they’re doing to our country, and my city especially

God only knows how much damage they’ll do before they’re stopped, much of it irreversible

But they are very much not winning

This would heal me

one of my strongest beliefs is that we're in our situation right now bc some of the most prominent talking heads (e.g. joe rogan, andrew schulz) are learning about politics in their 40s and 50s, instead of their teens and early 20s, and we have to go along for the ride as they learn basic things

If anyone was wondering, the ~23% reduction in ICE agents in Minnesota apparently doesn't include the ones down the street that are lurking, now as I type this, as vulnerable folks are getting their kids to the school bus this morning.

We cannot rest until ICE is gone, entirely.

I think one thing people outside Minnesota don't understand is that after Good and Pretti were killed by feds while observing, the most normal people you could imagine have made peace with the fact that they could be next, and they are still out there because they say it's the right thing to do.

What's tough to get across to folks outside MN is that both the occupation & everyday resistance are both happening at such a scale that it's kinda flipped a lot of what most would assume makes sense for precautions or 'opsec'. I am constantly reminded that it is also really brave to receive help in these difficult moments. To be a vulnerable person, living in a society that very clearly wants to harm you, and to trust your family’s survival to strangers or people you hardly know is also really difficult.

There’s only one way to rein in ICE’s terror campaign. Abolish it.

Predicting that this week we’ll hear more conciliatory words from the Administration regarding Minnesota (since they’re starting to realize that ICE has become politically toxic) but everyone outside of Minnesota needs to know that nothing on the ground has changed.
