i'm somewhat sympathetic to longtime solo publishers on substack who continue to use the platform for fear of disrupting a sole source of income. but i strain to imagine a reason anyone would move a media company onto substack in 2025 besides being lured there by a fat check of a16z blood money.

on March 10 two of McAfee’s “violence interrupters” RECKLESSLY fired 43 bullets into the dark in my students’ neighborhood. this was AFTER McAfee threatened to SHOOT UP the city council on a Facebook live.
