My time here has opened my eyes to a truth far too many ignore: America desperately needs prison reform.

It was polling at 70% approval at the time. If you think the base is responsible for the failures of our leaders you have a childish outlook on the world.

Harris shouldve made concessions to her base. She couldve committed to an arms embargo, to keeping Lena Kahn at the FTC, to protecting LGBT people and not leaving it to the states. Any number of things wouldve given her a shot of winning.

Harris didnt lose because of misogyny, she lost because she didnt run a good campaign.
