Tech workers are organizing to ask their companies to act against ICE. iceout.tech

i will say, the more i have had clarity of purpose- the knowledge that no matter what happens there is only one pathway forward, one way to act- the less i have found myself asking the question “are we going to win?”

I know NG often steps in to do similar relief work after disasters, but I have a hard time with the ones trained and equipped for direct confrontation saying "good job we support you" to regular people putting their bodies on the line. Still an important signal to send but it's complicated

As we in Minneapolis struggle with this unlawful, invading force… I ask all of you consider the parallels to your local law enforcement and the Black community often describes their interactions.

ICE OUT block party was a huge success. Over 40 neighbors came through in negative double digit temps, bringing chili, hot cocoa, smores, and wood for the fire.

I have been actively involved in protest movements for 24 years. I have never seen anything approaching this scale. Minneapolis is not accepting what's happening here. ICE fucking murdered a woman for participating in this, and all that did is bring out more people, from more walks of life.
