I am absolutely stuffed now, AJ!

It’s come out an absolute treat!

I love roast potatoes. These were so fluffy on the inside.

It’s a photo of a roasted shoulder of pork. It’s sitting on a dark gray chopping board. The cracking is orange and blistered. The meat facing the camera is browned and crispy.

It’s a photo of the same roasted meat, this time from above to get a better very of the cracking. The score marks are apparent, as are some flakes of salt.

It’s a photo of the sliced meat on the chopping board. It’s soft, tender, and laced with fat.

It’s a bowl of roast potatoes. They have crispy edges, and tucked in between are roasted cloves of garlic.

One magical animal, and some roast potatoes/garlic. 🍽️🍜 #foodsky

Oh yeah, comparisons to Hodgson have been pretty frequent today.

When I was setting up the starter packs I followed everyone as that made it easier to know who I had added to one of the packs. It feels like that might have been a mistake!

Yeah, it’s the unwarranted anger that gets to me. The boys are trying their best. We don’t have a divine right to win every game. This shit is hard!

I sometimes envy your time zone. And more often I envy your cricket team. Rugby is touch and go πŸ˜‚

I’ve had to unfollow a bunch of people. I get that some get upset when we lose a game, but calling for the manager’s head is madness

23.11.2025 00:54 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah, I would rather we hadn’t bought him but, now we have, we have to play him.

23.11.2025 00:48 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Totally, not disagreeing with you. It reminds me of Klopp’s terrible season at Dortmund where the Liverpool stats team said he had no luck.

We’ve definitely had bad luck in this run; just like we had some luck in the first five games.

But I do think heads dropping speaks to a deep seated sadness

23.11.2025 00:47 β€” πŸ‘ 5    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

He’s had big gaps between games, though. He’s barely played for Sweden. Although I do agree with you, he was a sick note at his former club and he was always going to miss games. I suspect that’s why they bought two strikers, but it seems to have backfired.

There’s clearly a lot of factors, and I’m glad VVD came out and said it’s on all of them.

It’s such a strange thing. We comfortably beat Real Madrid! We held Arsenal well and never looked like losing that game. That’s this same team, with the same manager.

The negativity on here is hard to take.

That sounds like my experience of grief.

If you’re asking if we finish 16th or 17th you’re not actually asking a genuine question.

NZ version also fun!

They actually co-produced the show and Alan Cumming was going to be host of both before there were scheduling issues. You’ll notice lots of similarities, but clearly they felt the US market couldn’t take a non-celebrity version.

It’s good. It’s not quite the same as they’re all reality TV stars. They’re all a bit too into the gameplay. But it’s still good fun.

I agree, but Isak also hasn’t been shooting well. His relative tap-in against Southampton aside, he’s missed every big chance. His aim is off and that’s only going to come back with more competitive games, which his form for club and country does not deserve.

22.11.2025 22:22 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah, I agree. It’s one of the reasons why I’m against spending huge amounts on individual players. There’s huge pressure on them and an obligation on the manger to pick them. If things don’t go well it’s a lose-lose situation.

22.11.2025 22:14 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

@jacobs-ladder71.bsky.social I’m with you. Well said.

I think he’s between a rock and hard place with Isak (and Wirtz to a degree). Isak doesn’t deserve a place in the starting XI but, unless he plays games, how does he ever get match fitness? I assume it’s short term pain for long term gain once Isak gets firing. Or we’ve genuinely wasted Β£125mn

Brilliant stuff by Travis Head. Proving that it wasn’t the pitch. Just some very good bowling and some very bad batting.

Surely it was just back to back one dayers and the series is 1-1?! πŸ˜‚

β€˜He keeps a clear head’: how Slot’s last slump offers blueprint for Liverpool revival Coach’s assistant during tough time at Feyenoord sees parallels with issues his former boss needs to deal with at Anfield

It wouldn’t surprise me if stories like this are deliberately placed by the Liverpool media team. Either way, we have a season defined by grief. No-one at the club will want to make excuses, but Robertson’s honesty has laid it bare. I hope we all keep the faith this season. #LFC #YNWA

πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ I have to look it up every time I type it. I totally get why they named it that, but if it fails to get the reach of Severance, the Latin name is entirely to blame!
