i find leather care to be very peaceful and meditative, it’s easy to get into the zone

ps for black boots, alternating between transparent wax, black wax, and then either navy or oxblood wax gives a really beautiful depth to the finish

(the navy/oxblood thing work well in any lighting, but navy is best for cool lighting and oxblood is better for warm lighting)

i like to go in with a light weight conditioner first (lexol), then a generous layer of huberd’s that i let soak in for a few hours/over night, then i buff it in and move onto polishing with 3 shades of angelus wax 🥵

doing a bit of leather care on my boots, my favorite belt, and my favorite harness 🥰 belt and harness are done, but the boots are getting the extra conditioner and polish treatment, of course 😈
