In "Things I didn't think would happen again," I have tickets to see a Bishop Allen concert at the Bowery Ballroom (with Mates of State!). Between this and getting to see Rilo Kiley twice in one weekend, mid-aughts me is super happy.

I mean yes this is funny, but the fact that these unconstitutional stormtroopers are so directionless that they literally stand around waiting for random nonwhite delivery guys to bike past them is just pathetic. No mandate, no mission, no clue. Just racism.

The real way to help children with autism and neurodivergence is to FUND SCHOOLS. Fund the welfare state. Create opportunities for parents to have an education and well paying jobs. More EAs in school, more doctors.

Our society is anti-child, and this is why so many children are in burnout.

We do a small summer reading program for adults but their summer events are basically what they do the rest of the year.

Every summer I think I'm going to post about my Teen Summer Reading program and every year that fizzles out quickly. But we could all use some good news. Today I had 38 teenagers at our kickoff who decorated cupcakes at my library. Including my volunteers I have 67 teens signed up for summer so far.
