Dredge Man, a robot with a green/turquoise cylindrical body. a small window shows his face, wearing a diving mask with a tired expression. on his back is a crane with a large net, and one of his arms is a long hose. the bottom of his legs are green, resembling a build up of algae, with white bolts that look like barnacles.

this was my entry for the megaman contest! he's a guy meant to collect junk off the deep sea floor.

Have waited 67 years for Manticore Extended. Used to play Manticore Classic gainst my fellow gongfarmers beneath the garderobe. It was a brilliant way to pass the long hours, waiting for a trickle or rain of noble night soil. We fashioned coins from knucklebones and slew kings! Worthy times.

I think replacing negative traits work well; I would probably do it as really-specific injuries like that, ask the player if they want to help describe how the injury would temporarily set aside the trait.

This rocks. Reminds me a bit of Jamzilla's CYST - also had d8 tables and some coin flipping.

At first I read this like 'roll and combine' and you'd have a cunning but weak-willed sword, which like, maybe? In the dungeon? But also enjoy the realer idea of 2 good and bad traits, and 2 bits of gear.

'Rede' looks like Old English for advice or council. (Later getting folded into 'read'). Then in 1610 looks like 'make out the character of (a person)', and 1792, 'perform [music] from the notes'
